1. Splitter vs. Pass-Through Logic
With Splitter (1:4 / 1:8): Best for distribution points. One feeder fiber in, multiple drops out. Reduces fiber usage in the main ring.
Pass-Through (No Splitter): Best for fiber indexing. Each external port corresponds directly to a fiber in the stub tail.
2. 100% OptiTap® Compatible
Features industry-standard Hardened SC/APC (H-Connector) ports. Fully inter-mateable with Corning OptiTap® drops and CommScope terminals. No proprietary lock-in.
3. Factory-Sealed IP68
Every unit undergoes a strict Air-Tightness & Water Immersion Test. Rated for 3 meters of water submersion for 7 days. Ideal for flood-prone manholes or handholes.
4. Flexible Stub Tails
Comes with a factory-installed SST Flat Drop stub. Available in Dielectric (aerial) or Toneable (direct burial) versions.

Engineering FAQ
Q: Can I daisy-chain these terminals?
A: Yes. Choose the “Pass-Through” model with a stub tail. You can splice the stub into your main fiber ring and drop specific fibers at each terminal location (Fiber Indexing).
Q: Is the mounting bracket included?
A: Yes. Every ABPTEL MST ships with a universal mounting bracket kit suitable for wall, pole, or handhole mounting at no extra cost.
