The ABPTEL 10G-SFP-ER 10GBASE-ER SFP+ Optical Transceiver is engineered for extended-reach 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) applications across metropolitan and wide area networks. Operating at a 1550nm wavelength, it supports transmission distances of up to 40km over singlemode fiber (SMF) using LC duplex connectors.
Built with a DFB laser transmitter and a PIN photodiode receiver, this module ensures consistent optical performance and energy efficiency. Integrated Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM/DDM) provides real-time data on optical power, temperature, and voltage, allowing proactive network maintenance.
Compliant with the IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-ER standard and the SFP+ MSA specification, the module is fully hot-pluggable and supports data rates up to 10Gbps. It is tested for seamless compatibility with major brands, including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Dell, and HPE.
